Our Practice Team

Practice Manager: Jane Sharples

Jane is responsible for the overall smooth running and organisation of the practice, and to manage the financial side of the practice. She will be happy to hear your comments – both good and bad.

Reception

Our 12 receptionists, led by the practice manager, are fully trained and, at times, have a difficult job to do. They are there to help you get the best service from us, to organise the doctors’ schedules and to help them with the administration. At all times, they are carrying out the doctors’ instructions and their advice follows strict practice guidelines. Anything that is discussed with the receptionist or any other member of the team is treated in strict confidence. You have a right to be treated courteously and our receptionists also have the right to be treated courteously by you.

If you wish to discuss something in private, we can offer a degree of privacy in a separate office. Please ask to use this office if your enquiry is of a sensitive nature.

Our Attached Team

Social Prescribers, First Contact Physio’s and NHS Talking Therapies colleagues are based within our practices. Please ask reception for details about booking appointments with any of the additional staff at the practice.

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
